Well England has announced the team they think will not get completely trounced by Les Blues on Saturday night. Gone are Armitage at full back, Tait at centre and Haskell has to settle for the bench. In are the Northampton dup of Foden and Ashton, with Simon Shaw partnering Borthwick in the 2nd row. Yeah I know, what on earth is Borthwick still doing there. They sent Courtney Lawes back to his club, when he should be there alongside Shaw.
Hopefully Foden and Ashton won’t feel too overawed at starting and will play as they do for Northampton. Ashton has actually scored 71 tries in 66 appearances for his club (at all competitions) that is a remarkable scoring record. In fact whilst playing for Wigan Rugby league he managed 42 tries in 62 appearences.
Not my only concern, but a major one is Flutey… he has done nothing apart from a couple of breaks in the very first game. He is very lucky to still be there.
Well England have absolutely nothing to lose, they can do no better or worse than 3rd so for Christ sake lads. Go out there and play! Have a go, run and enjoy the game
